Handsome
set of gold belt pins, Miss M.C. Cuthbert; Set of large linen towels,
Mrs. A.M. Cuthbert, Cash, Mrs. and Mrs. Jos. Ganahl; Beautiful gilded
cups and saucers, Misses Mary and Hattie Ganahl; Beautiful framed motto
(inscription) "What is home without a mother." This present was given of
Mrs. Annie
Reed, one year after my marriage, my first baby boy was then one month old.
This entire list was from white friends. Space will not take in all

But I will mention a few. Pair of lovely China vases, Mrs. Camilla Golphin; Beautiful waiter and dishes, Horance Jones; Set of linen handkerchiefs, from Minor L. Auffling; Pair of gold bracelets, Miss Minerva Dent; numerous other beautiful and useful articles which space will not permit.
