• In order to access all the functions of Dynaweb, a browser which supports frames and JavaScript such as Netscape 3.01 or greater is recommended.

• The main starting point allows access to all collections on the server. Some of the collections rely on external web pages for access and may appear out of context when accessed in this manner. A link in the book list for the collection, indicated by , will take you to the collection's homepage.

• Use the button bar to navigate rather than your browser's back button.

  This button returns you to the Contents List
  This button returns you to the Item List

  When a search is active in frames mode and you wish to return to the Contents List with search results, use your browser's "Go" pull-down menu and select the last page visited. The Back button will only update the individual frames one at a time.

• Be patient when browsing or searching. Dynaweb must perform the complicated task of translating SGML to HTML which may take several seconds. Repeated clicking only leads to longer wait times. For best results in frames mode, allow all frames to completely load before progressing.
