The 15th Anniversary Celebration program, held Thursday, October 30, 2003, featured remarks by Laura Micham, director of the Bingham Center; Sallie Bingham, author and feminist activist; Anne Firor Scott, W. K. Boyd Professor of History Emerita; Jean Fox O'Barr, founding director of the Duke University Women's Studies Program; and Ginny Daley, Duke's first women's history archivist.

Exhibits 

In conjunction with these events, the Bingham Center invites you to view two related exhibits at Perkins Library:

  • The Sallie Bingham Center for Women's History and Culture: Fifteen Years and Counting
  • A Century of Choices: Selections from the Sallie Bingham Center for Women's History and Culture

Exhibitions are open to the public and will run from October 24 – December 29, 2003.

Reproductive Rights Bibliography

The Reproductive Rights bibliography lists a selection of resources in the Bingham Center related to abortion and other reproductive rights issues.

This symposium and related exhibits are part of the 15th anniversary celebration of the Sallie Bingham Center for Women's History and Culture. The two exhibits, "The Sallie Bingham Center for Women's History and Culture: Fifteen Years and Counting," and "A Century of Choices: Selections from the Sallie Bingham Center for Women's History and Culture" will be on view in Perkins Library from October 24 – December 29. These programs are made possible with the support of Duke University's Kenan Institute for Ethics, Program in Women's Studies, Women's Center, and University Libraries.
